hahaha but to be honest

all mobile camera at night sux

so far the only one that stands out is Google's Night Sight

Samsung has a long way to go with its Bright Night feature

their camera is good, but their UX still got a long way to go, especially their OEM version of android.

for the best UX now its Samsung's ONE UI without a doubt, its even better than stock android itself.

when it comes to UX im not only talking about the icon

its the user experience as a whole

Samsung's OEM version of android has always been "user first" after their major overhaul in 2015 with the s6/s7/note 5 models

there are many small and unnoticable features that are in Samsung's version of android.

its like, when you "need to use it", its there



for example, like their built in clipboard manager, you dont always use it, but its there when you need it


another example is their motion camera feature, there was once i snapped a photo of some important information, but i lost it

then i review back the photo, but i did not manage to snap the full details

SURPRISINGLY, the motion camera captured the last 2-3 seconds of my phone movement. so it saved me as i have the details back (as i was moving my camera around the information that i did not manage to take)

hmm i suppose it depends on the user then

for me i never bothered with SOT since years ago even when im not using Samsung phones.

as long as the phone can lasts me whole day from 9am till i reach home from work without needing to charge.

im satisfied

i wont purposely stress myself to go and check every now and then to monitor the SOT only to be stressed out because my usage for today was heavy until it couldnt reach the average of 4 hours worth of SOT


i believe everyday the SOT will be different

sometimes will be due to major heavy usage, sometimes standby time is longer as i didnt really use the phone.
