Hi, i plan to buy used cbx 750 convert to cafe race as daily ride to workplace, as this bike quite old, any tips how the maintanance for the bike and how much will it cost; oil filter, vc, engine oil, air filter etc.
Any major issue with the bike that i need to know?

how much is the bike being sold for and how much cash u got?

if ur concerned about maintenance etc, id suggest not to buy it. old bike so parts may be a little scarce and hard to find. even worse with a custom bike. and u wanna daily it. finding a competent mechanic for that specific bike may be an issue as well.

depending on the amount u have, might be a better idea to buy a newer, fuel injected bike and convert that to a cafe racer of ur style and liking.

on a side note: cafe racer conversions are not legal, as they fall under Blue text point 3 of the below... and im pretty sure cafe racer conversions would affect points 1 and 2 as well

so far no member here claims to hv own this bike.

based on observation. polis still using this bike so sure spare parts is available. and there are pomen out there tht knows this bike inside out.

the issue is , can you find a pomen in your town tht can deal with this bike?

go look and seek advice frm pomen tht knows this bike. u see his shop full of cbx, then confirm tht pomen sure knows.

jz check mudah, the price seems to naik abit cos owner sure wana sell expensive. so hv to patiently search.

for me, cbx polis convert to nighthawk is cun enuf oredi for 80s retro bike look.


u might wana consider xj6 z750 tht offers less headache, better performance..

old bikes is really for jiwa kental.. summore wana custom = extra kental...
