QUOTE(myqd @ May 17 2008, 07:56 PM) Just finish the whole photos, very nice series u got there, mind to share what program u used to make "frame" like that ? hi mate,Thanks in advance for the frame its not as simple as it looks. i'm not using a special program to do it leh... its pure photoshop and its not as easy as it seems to be. the amount or time taken to make these frames were about the same time it took me to photoshop a normal pic i also find it hard to explain all the steps in detail over here. perhaps i can briefly explain my workflow... -make a "new" file (i.e 1024x764) -duplicate a layer (background copy layer) -on the "background copy" layer, use rectangle tool to make a smaller frame -fill color black into the rectangle -free transform mode and switch to warp mode and pinch/pull out the edges a little, then once your ok, press ENTER and deselect -now open your pic you want and duplicate layer onto the "new" file -you will see ur pic in the "new" file and mot probably you will need to free transform it (Ctrl+T) and resize the pic in such tht it covers the rectangle but not covering the pinched edges of your rectangle -now on your "background copy" layer, use Gausian Blur about 10px -control the opacity to about 30-40% -once happy, flatten all the layers and save hope these work instructions work for you and i'll be waiting here to see the results here PS: Good stuff always dun come easily This post has been edited by ora-ito: May 17 2008, 09:20 PM |

QUOTE(orenzai @ May 17 2008, 09:20 PM) yea, quite sad and can't be helped...it looks ok when its at high res i try to keep originality at its best, at least ppl know where is the light source coming from Pros & Cons of using sunglasses Pros: Adds the cool and covers the eyebags, less post processing involved, cuts your workflow, save time Cons: obvious REFLECTIONS from light source Score: 4:1 i guess just live wit it la hahahah natural also ma... |

I recently got hold of Nikon Capture NX 1.3
yea, i know... its not the latest NX 2, but i got it free, so what the heck rite? just try some PP the superb feature of Capture NX is their U-point function. you guys can check out their demos and its pretty impressive. Here are some edits using purely Capture NX: Little White Ridding Hood ![]() Sky Scrapping Condo @ SG ![]() *No filters were used for this shot XP theme building ![]() *No filters were used for this shot Spooky Smoke Trail ![]() *This one obviosly not done using Capture NX. *Purely Photoshop CS3 edit.
