MAE to offer 5% pa for MAE wallet

From 30 October to 31 January 2026, customers can enjoy 5% p.a. return when they deposit a minimum of RM200 into their MAE Wallet. Returns are calculated on a daily rest, just deposit the funds and key in the recipient reference ‘MAETurns5’ before 30 November 2025 and maintain the amount until the end of the campaign.

No brainer to use this (especially if you don't use MAE for anything else....). I transferred two transactions, one large one X and one smaller one (4999-X) 'just in case'.

That way if accidentally click MAE account and transfer out money or when scanning QR, the larger amount not affected (as long as balance don't drop below X).

No real reason to use it anyway, ShopeePay rewards been more consistent and generous anyway.

I just throw 4999.99 transfer and treat it as 5% limited FD promo
This year end is a big spending event ...
3k PRS ...
3k KWSP
5k MAE...

For 5k I might as well keep it in ASMx or EPF.

May I know how you guys transfer to MAE? Normally i transfer directly from my Saving account only.

I read the cross: 'Only interbank GIRO (IBG/IBFT), DuitNow Transfers or DuitNow QR from a third party bank account or e-Wallet are accepted.'

So means from MBB Saving account to MAE is not count?

haha you put 4999.99 then how they going to credit the interest to you later?

But i just saw this.

They wanted "fresh funds" from "outside"....

So either use other banks $$$ to transfer.... Or ask family / friends help to transfer into your MAE account... You pay them back the amount....

Meaning Mae limit not 4999 just that the promo only eligible up to 4999?

The interest rate crediting will also go into MAE?

What happens if you max out RM10k.. then deposits into MAE will throw error...
