Hello. I was interested in an ad I found about a week ago for a mobo and CPU combo.

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4646522 [dead link, see below]

As the sale wasn't closed and there was a number to whatsapp, I did that. I waited 2 days and received no answer. I called the number. Nobody picked up. About 3 days after that, the thread was edited to completely blank, including the title. However the thread wasn't closed. Because I noticed lately that it has become a trend for sellers not to have the professional courtesy to answer whatsapp or PM, I left a final reply in the thread as a reminder to other sellers to be more professional when conducting business.

Today I found out the whole thread has disappeared. Looking up Google, I found that the number belongs to someone named Roger, a tennis player, possibly a mat saleh and VIP. For someone of his stature, he must be quite preoccupied. But dude, you're selling online. At last count you still have more than 10 ongoing sales. When your item is sold, get an assistant to close the thread. If not, just answer the whatsapp message. It's just 4 keystrokes: SOLD.

So my question is, would admin remove a whole thread simply for a negative yet perfectly justifiable reply?

i think it was deleted because the thread is blank like you said more so than the reply in it.

I actually attached a copy of his original post in my final reply to the thread. I think the seller requested for the deletion of the thread to hide his mistake, as it would tarnish his reputation. Just google his name and "tennis" and you'll see why. What I wanted to say to this seller and other people like him is: don't ignore your buyers, close your thread properly when item is sold. That's all. I don't have a problem with him and his profession.
