rule of thumb: never buy single door one. cleaning and defrosting will kill you.
get the cheapest 2 door. any brand will do. go big shop like sengheng and harvey and look for dented units. they work fine.

this weekend got starling mall expo and got some factory outlet sales.. try there too.

Wow very good not bad.
I am skeptical online purchase.
Like physical order better

i bought this sharp 2 doors at aeon eletrical last month during promotion rm799. During weekends some more and got rm70 vouchers after purchase. Sometimes, physical shop like aeon cheaper or better than online because of vouchers

if no budget.. go get 2nd hand 1.. some come with 6-12month warranty...

better dont. Wasting money only buy second fridge because once compressor broken, still need to buy new. Less hasle if buy new now because of compressor warranty is higher.

fridge is suppose to be the longest lasting item at home. even longer than your tv. so if possible, spend a bit more on the largest size you can afford.
dont buy fancy inverter/4 door/door in door etc. just get the basics right.

personally i would skip koreans though...

the defrost is press 1 button then ice melt into the water tray. empty tray. it will auto turn on after ice melted.

frost problem... if defrost will take few days.
fastest is use hair dryer to blow it. when it drips down it will collect at bottom pan. if overflow will wet your floor.

and finally, the defrost button always rosak after a while....
