Racism is real in employment. You can create similar jobstreet profile but different name to check yourself. You will be surprised.

The problem is no matter what, some hiring manager make assumption based on race. Making and acting on assumptions about people from a racial stereotype is a form of discrimination, ie Chinese are hard-working; Malays are lazy; Indians are thugs...
