Even if the survey was 'biased'... the reality is real.
Why? Because I am also part of the candidate selection process albeit just to see how well the candidate can interact, not the big questions.
I think so far mostly Chinese hires, Malay zero, Indian zero.

I don't have a say in the final selection sadly.
To be honest, this is the case worldwide.
What I also notice is that the ones with English names = higher chances of being hired. And of course, your 'origin'.
Sad reality.
My advice - - Malaysia has no hope if you're gunning for ultimate success. Jump ship and earn $$$ and never look back. Easier said than done, but I have a few colleagues who have done that. Me? Still looking for a better job.
