Send Chinese girl resume Friday 4PM wait for callbacks till Sunday night.

Also which companies they send to can play a big part in results. Send muslim name to Genting croupier job you think will get callback?

That's the US though.

I think hiring discrimination exists in MY, but mainly in the smaller organizations (Sdn Bhd).

The real discrimination is the pay discrimination for so-called "elite" foreign grads. Balik Australia fresh grad = RM2.5 - 3k. MY fresh grad = RM2.3k take it or leave it.

That has much more impact since you're starting 10-25% lower salary vs your peer.

Chinese controlled company tend to call back Malay candidate more than Malay controlled company at 3.8% vs 3.4%

This paper I believe - I read parts of it.

Very useful but IMHO varies from industry to industry.

In IT or Eng you can be a weed-smoking, flaming LGBT nudist who is also a member of the Taliban, but if you are technically capable plus reliable and somewhat recognized in industry, you will get a job.

The previous survey is most likely unbiased. The margin of error plus the range of the differences in opinion (X received 5.2% vs 3% callbacks) plus broken down between large corporate, SME, etc is believable methodology.

This pula X received 240, Y received 20 - definitely fishy as fuck.

From IT sector experience:

MY Indians pretty good, especially those with overseas education. Many know their stuff.
India Indians go far far pls. Most are just con jobs and their CVs (if they are even real qualifications) aren't worth the paper they are printed on.
