I bought a property 2 years ago on a project by this developer.
Although the project is still in progress, the developer had yet to finish selling the units.

Recently, they are making a promotion for all left over unit.
The prices are getting 30% discount + rebate subject to some tnc.
(pm me for the details and project name)

Is that common trend now?
So, I had already loss money, quite upset here.
Is that fair enough for the early purchasers?

early purchasers get to choose the desired units first..whereas these 'clearance stock' unit is take what's left..

that is not a good deal though.

I would rather take 30% more discount over "desired unit". 30% of 1mil is RM300k ... that is a SHIT TON of money for a trade off that isn't really there in the first place. If the left over unit is just the floor above you, what you want to say? I'm pretty sure the so called clearance stock is someone's neighbour and are you saying those neighbour picked the wrong units when they bought it early or are they absolutely fucked knowing that someone else next door got it for 30% less?

it is depend on your preferable selection.

For example, u buy early and select the unit not facing sun and have a better view, or select later with discount unit facing sun directly without any view.
