i think pirelli is better. all of my cars and bikes previously using Michelin (tested many variants) but not satisfied with the wet road performance. now happily using pirelli for all of my vehicles.. way better than Michelin. I'm not sure about continental brand though

Continental tyres are the best balance between quality (wet road grip) vs price. Btw, choosing tyres are like choosing between sport car or an mpv. U need to know what do u need from the tyres. Rarely u can get everything for the item you chose.
Im a happy continental tyres user for over the past 15 years. |

U need to compare specific model or Conti vs other brands. General statements like that gets u vague and inaccurate information

QUOTE(MasterConfucion @ Mar 7 2019, 08:08 AM) since continental tyre is consider top level and used in continental cars, how much is quality difference if i use other tyres? Continental tires used in continental cars? Not entirely true la! Many European cars use Michelin, Goodyear, and other 1st tier brands too. Continental is also used in Japanese cars like Almera and Vios.Anyway for your question, yes Continental is a 1st tier level tire brand but so do Michelin, Goodyear, Pirelli, Bridgestone, and Dunlop, so quality is about the same. |

Continental tire price range actually more towards the higher end, especially their European made models. Their pricing is about similar to Michelin.Im a happy continental tyres user for over the past 15 years. |

Many ppl praises their cc6 like no tomorrow. I myself never tried one before, Iām a supporter of Toyo neo3, using 3rd set already still loving it.
