Savings, personal care, utilities and housing too low.
Haircut once is 30-50 already, how about internet?
300 for rental is far too low even.

This is the mistakes of politicians who keeps saying devaluation is good for the export market and brings income for the nation, it is the people who suffer.

Haircut RM10 to RM15 no more liao kah your place?
Rental if sharing room can get RM300 in KL.
If include internet, utilities will be RM150, provided no use aircond. Internet=RM100, electricity=RM40, water=RM10

Haircut around 30 and up, 10 is quite difficult nowadays, plus shampoo and other detergent and stuff still not sufficient amount.
You also agree utilities is too little.

We agree that this is barely survivable amount, but definitely need to be higher.

Granted that average wage in Taiwan is also around 3k MYR, their bills and living cost is much higher than us...

People earning minimum wages should share rooms (below RM100 per person if double Decker beds arranged properly , cut each others hair for free, walk to workplace, need no internet.

No wonder everyone goes to work in Singapore or even Vietnam.
No point suffering when future is not in sight.

Not sure why they assume they are going to earn minimum wages forever? Even after 30 years? Maybe some people really deserve only minimum wages?

With that amount of savings, very likely difficult to change life situation already.
And all of these actually assumes that there is no debt, how about student debt?
Better look for easy solution as soon as possible rather than long term stress.

MINIMUM WAGES earners - If they earn RM 1.1 k or less they should have no student debt, most likely SPM dropout. If they think they deserved better pay, look for better offer, change job. Not simply ask govt to increase their wages.

Many don't, so like I said earlier, many move to Singapore or even Vietnam already.
