Bass definately more natural than an active subwoofer... both active woofer and midbass cant give big low extentions anyways... never know you ever heard the sound of the focal sub, i wondering you refer to this compare to the autocraft model above , https://www.focal.com/en/car-audio/car-audi...losures/ibus-20 i can tell you...the AC sub win hand down compare to the F brand. underseat active sub tech are all came from china, and even big brand are amazed with how they can make it better, that's why you will see now big brand has underseat sub...but way beyond the "reasonable price" than a china brand that mostly have a newer and better design by the rapid development in china. not protecting any brand as i always stay neutral, but you should really test it before recommending will be better.
