hi all sifus.....just wondering what are the cost reduction done to reduce the price so much to RM27k from previously about RM37k......if not mistaken

my dad just bought one LMST and here are the differences that I can spot....hope you guys could give more comments so that I know more on what has been reduced on the LMST compared to the iswara.....

1.  no clock
2.  front passenger side....no drawer....only got the place to put things....
3.  the air cond vent.....bigger blades means less assembly and process
4.  carpets are those very thin coil rubber type....
5.  the place for you to rest your hand on the side of the door....is much much shorter now...
6.  the car seems lighter...
7.  the door is missing the rubber lining on the outside....
8.  no more spoiler on the back
9.  the meters seems to be compact together......and the blue light is very dim.....must be really dark then can only see clearly.....I think I prefer the yello/amber light more....
10. signal lights and brake lights are much smaller than the iswara...
11.  the cushion seems to lack some cushioning material.....the iswara feels much firmer and more sponge.....
12.  the LMST engine compartment are much more clean and organize....is this the reason why i see a lot of space there?  or some things are reduced  in size or taken out?

anymore that you think I am missing.....

do let me know if I made any mistake...

also, this is not meant to give bad comments on the new LMST.....by all means....the price is very cheap......and I might be thinking of getting my hands on one too but I would like to see what other changes they made to reduce the price so much.....

- nice nice sport rim
- lowered suspension
- a clean car
vr vr nice enough lor... no need VG lar....

thats why start saving now lor.... its really worth it... trust me...
lowered suspension also can do car park ma... my car also lowered, no serious problem also....   this one also must see skill when go up the ramp to avoid kena skirting....

guys just now when i drive back from air hitam back to my hometown so many police le. Got a straight road very straight 1 before a corner. i went 90km.h around the corner. Then once straight road hit 120km/h straight then only saw police car park beside road. Luckily the policeman is busy with the singapore car if else sure i kena 1. he look at me passing by... fuh....

is it ilegal to replace the spray nozzle (the one on ur car bonet that sprays water to ur windscreen) to those with light wan? need advise..

Today early early morning go SC and interview those mech.. Haha.. About my coolant, if the water get less that the FULL sign, mean is normal.. Mean the water got jalan and the extra coolant will pour down.. So is normal.. The coolant at least must have the half tank..

2nd, about warranty.. What also CAN change except the whole engine and carburetor or open pod air filter.. The mech told me forget about KNN open pod cause it will make ur carburetor die fast because of the air is too strong.. Whatever wanna mod, just mod it only.. Janji don't tukar or mod engine.. Hehe.. Regarding the bar, you wan put what bar also can put.. But he advise me don't put strut bar that screw on the absorber.. If wan put strut bar, just welding on the chasis like UR bar.. I asked them how about exhaust, and he said no problem.. you wan put 8 inch muffler also can no muffler also can.. Warranty still carry on..

About my buang matter, this is interesting.. RM27k or merdeka edition LMST must take note.. Change all tyre, rear absorber and spring.. Why? This edition suspension suck!! No use at all.. Just to let you know got absorber only.. And then the tyre moe interesting.. Those tyre is REJECTED tyre by Sime Tyre.. The astar tyre now got new which lmst using now is old mean cannot grib the road.. Good to dirfting only. Now he advised me change lower spring, rear absorber into GAS cause stock is using oil and then 4 tyres.. Confirm handling will improve alot..

About brake, no matter you put brembo brake also useless.. You need go kereta potong buy those bigger brake bump and replace the old 1.. Confirm makan..

So now I can mod watever I wan except tukar engine and weber.. haha..

For those who always go out station or highway user, must take note on the buang matter that I mentioned just now..

Near my house de.. Hehe.. That mech sure honestly la.. Pass back 20 years ago my dad proton also service by that shop... hehe.. Mod can mod.. Don't mod engine thing and those messy wiring.. And make sure go visit good workmanship.. Later they kantoi ur car with lausy workmanship.
