Just saw both of michy's goals, the first was a brilliantly improvised finish. Sigh.

Bodoh la sarri. Why not giving the youngster some game time.

This Chelsea team is a pain to watch. Super boring with no threat up top. Really hope we can change our head coach for next season. Can bear another boring season like this.

3rd place can get a bigger slice of that CL TV money, definitely worth fighting for.

Can't believe how rubbish pedro has been. Worst player on the pitch, alongside higuain.

Another snooze fest performance from the team. Really toothless going forward. Really hope to see sarri departure in the summer.

If Sarri wants to implement his sarriball, he’d better take chances w younger players. Else, next season still the same problems

Luckily spuds, arse and manu shittier than us toward the end of the season. Even luckier in Europa, we get the easiest draw everytime.
This team not going to win us major trophy anytime soon though. |

Chelsea finish third, reached a final and have a Europa League final to prepare for. Bizarre season in so many ways but you have to say that in terms of how they've finished, Sarri has done a more than decent job.

I think we need to temper our expectations a little here, and be careful of what we wish for. Top four was always the target, and we've managed that. I for one am satisfied with our season, considering this is sarri's first taste of the epl and pool as well as city have been different class this year. Hats off to them and we have tons of catching up to do.
Honestly though, who could we bring in that would make such a guaranteed improvement? Please don't give me that nonsense about a lamps and JT partnership, their lack of experience not withstanding, the fans would turn on them the minute we hit a bad run. You think they'd do better with this ageing mish mash of a squad? I'm more concerned about the players we bring in when CAS are reviewing our appeal, because that will really determine how our next season pans out. When eden leaves, the investment in key positions within our squad will absolutely make or break us. Coupled with how well we integrate our other young rising stars, I'm hoping we at least close the gap on the top two sooner rather than later, and the rest of you wishing for some superstar manager to emerge and takeover our cursed manager title, winning major trophies in the process,I'll just wish you good luck in remaining delusional. |
