Sadly James is still injured. We still have to stick with Azpi. Willian is just awful. Even Jorg, Kante, Christensen who played full 120 min is still better than Willian.

My concern is, what if James not as good as we thought and we need to stick back to Dave?

I remember I kept a close eye on Liverpool when Koop first came. Same situation, press kao kao during first half and next half exhausted af. Give this Chelsea team some time to gel

A few problems:

1. We can’t press. Vs Mu and fox, we pressed hard in first 15 minutes then no more stamina

2. Lampard’s sub. Should sub out Pedro and mount, both looked exhausted in second half

3. Striker. Giroud still the best among three, but not clinical

Even for Pool, they don't do high pressing for the full 90 minutes. U need to strategize on which phase if the game to press, which phase to sit deep. It's impossible to play high pressing for 90 minutes

And our defending shape is just weird. Kante is too much to the right. So many times I see Chowdhury, Maddison just make a square pass and bypass our midfield of Kante and Jorginho. Why don't we defend in 2 blocks of 4. Pulisic, Kante, Jorg, Pedro forming the 4 in a line. But sooo many times I see Kante too much at the right. And also quite a lot of times, Kante and Jorg was not even in a dmf position to intercept passes.

Let's see what Lampard do next. His reputation can only give him some more time. That's it. In terms of cv, heck even Brendan Rodgers, Benitez have more impressive managerial cv than Lamps. Lol

With the transfer ban, there's ntg much we can do. Really depends on Lampard's adaptability and tactic. It's gonna be a longggg season.
