I'm sure by now everyone has read all the rumours about lamps potentially taking over, and I'm just feeling pretty disillusioned about the whole situation. Hence I'm just gonna repost what I said on reddit:-

Just wait till the board hounds him out of the club for:

A. Not achieving targets AND winning trophies

B. Not playing an attractive brand of football

C. Not fielding enough youth players

D. Not shaking the hands and high-fiving all the groundsmen and janitors he runs into. (okay probably not, but you get my drift)

All within the space of less then a season.

Now you know why we don't have any DOF because the club think they know better. Lamps will get kicked to the curb. But when that happens I think roman would have awoken a different monster among the fans, and I expect full blown 10 x 10 banners asking him to get the hell out of the club. By the time we get there, you can't really say it's unjustified either and that's why it's going to be heartbreaking for many fans who've supported him all this while,including me.

Please dear lamps, when you get the call, say no. But promise you'll come back later when things are a little more 'settled' so to speak. If that doesn't happen, it's perfectly fine as well because you deserve so much better than getting pulled into this current unmitigated disaster.
