QUOTE(gry @ Mar 18 2019, 02:32 AM) Alonso back to his best. Sarri comment after alonso performances against farmer team! Then straight into starting eleven Barkley was surprisingly decent despite the boo boys, but it's hard to accept this 'mentality excuse that keeps being thrown around when we just crumble after conceding first. RCL and CHO good performances in Europa League straight to the bench. Giroud too! Barkley suddenly in first eleven out of nothing! Dominate. Miss chances. Losing! This is the problem when sarri stubbornly persists with his favourites. He knows damn well we have a problem with goal scoring in the league, when your backup striker scores a bloody hattrick, you let him start the next match to build MOMENTUM. But nooooo he goes back to gonzalo 'you'll never notice me on the pitch because most of the time I'm doing nothing' higuain. QUOTE(fu'house @ Mar 18 2019, 12:55 PM) When we win and he makes crucial interceptions in defense and attack, all is good. But I notice now he tends to look exhausted in matches because sarri forces him to help in our attacking and defensive phase. When this happens he will have long periods where he's not doing much in either department, and proceeds to give away the ball many, many times when we're attacking. Someone like RLC getting the ball in some of his positions would do wonders, there was one instance where someone fed him a peach of a pass right into the middle of the penalty box and he had time to take a touch and get a strike away. Instead he chooses to try and lay it off to gonzalo with a horrible touch and everton intercept without much trouble. He's tired and sarri again kept him on when we were dying for more quality attacking input. With top four still within reach, I don't know how many false dawns we can endure because quite frankly, united and arsenal deserve it more than us. Second worst away record in 2019 after fulham. Let that sink in for a bit. |

Sarri's Chelsea remind me of Wenger's Arsenal that keep passing without any end product and Redknapp's Spurs when they went all out at first half and get tired at second half and lose.
His tactic run behind the opponent when there's no space and unnecessary pressing will surely fatigue the player. This season might be still okay but next season we might see a fatigue team at start of season. Another thing is since he only has Plan A and every other manager already know the countermeasure, expect next season to be worse if transfer ban is not delayed, Sarri is not sacked and Hazard leave. Luckily Chelsea in Europa is still Mourinho's style and that reason alone might make Chelsea the winner. This post has been edited by darkthunder: Mar 18 2019, 07:31 PM |

We have a slew of really good young talent and our coach has no idea how to utilize them and resorts to playing players such as Alonso who has been poor all season. Needless to say, its just not working out for Sarri. For goodness sake, can we just get a coach who can use these young players?

FIFA will make a decision on Chelsea's transfer ban appeal BEFORE the summer transfer window opens.
Meaning there would still be time for the club to seek an interim ruling at the Court of Arbitration for Sport to get any potential ban frozen (Mail) |

QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ Mar 19 2019, 04:33 PM) doubt she will be sacked. Trusted by Roman to keep Chelsea running, especially when Roman now having political problems.only commendable thing she can do is sell players at good prices. hopefully we can cut a good deal with RM for Hazard. the guy is leaving for sure. would be surprised if he actually stayed |
