Hi all sifus, im noob on rims n tyres. Pls give me suggestions.
Im gonna collect my new Ford Ranger 2.0 XLT+ Limited next week. Plan to add body kits and rim/ off road tyre to make it more 'garang'. But i while i survey online, it seems like my origial rim 18' wanna change offroad tyre very expensive. Im wondering should i downgrade my rim size to 17 or 16 since i want to change rim. 16' or 17' also cheaper compared to 18'.
Im not sure if i really need to change offroad tyre since i mostly drive in the city. But the original tyre really look a bit soft for me.
All sifus out there can give me suggestion/opinion pls?
Thank you very much.

this rim nice
Ford ranger xlt+ is 265/60 R18 kan? If u want to downsize the rim to 16 inch then best to get 265/70R16 tires which would be quite easy to source... this size is more or less the same size as the original size..so u dun need to adjust your odometer etc... 17inch not so common sizes if you want similar tire size to the original and hence would be difficult to buy cheaper tires..Im gonna collect my new Ford Ranger 2.0 XLT+ Limited next week. Stay with the HT tires if you don't go off road. AT tires look more garang but is not worth it if you drive only on paved roads (highway ke nonhighway is still paved). You can google AT vs HT if you curious..
