Hey guys,

VR-Zone will be having a regional overclocking competition on the 7th of July, and we will like to seek a team of overclockers to come down to participate in the competition. Accomodation will be provided for one night if anyone is interested. Currently, there are competitors from Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia, and I sure do hope that there will be at least one guy from lowyat can come down and represent the country/forum!

Prizes will be fantastic, with Quad Core processors, Asus Mainboards, Prize money and more!

PS: I will be able to sponsor one hotel room, up to a maximum of 3 pax.

nice.. ill ask teh gang to see if they want to.... but our gang got like 8 guys... haha all of us fit into one room can? lolz

dude, ur jk or wat... of course it maybe how high core can you go, benchmark score, and the coolest despite being oc kao kao.. also there maybe proc and gfx categories.. there are many possibilities... if got web site or more info would be good for those interested hard core oc'ers...

We will sponsor 2 nights of hotel stay, OC competition will be splitted up into two days, one day of air/water cooling and one day of dry ice cooling. So guys who joins this competition will need to be familiar with both air/water/dry ice cooling! Competitors will include famous overclockers in the region, namely,

- Shamino from Singapore
- Coolaler from Taiwan
- Xu Gang from China
- team from unlimitpc thailand
- team from lowyat
- team from indonesia

This will definitely be the biggest overclocking event in the history of our region.

Shamino made a typo mistake. The Team K.O. is actually Team K.O.C. consists of coolice and gang.

Hope they can win for the challenge. Really tempting reading their oc attempt for E6600.

i only see sole entry Team Ostraya(couple team....the girl is cute)) from Australia and the only western guy!

Sole entry from India,Australia,Thailand,China(another couple team).

Singapore have 9 team,Indonesia have 4 team and Malaysia have two team out of total 19 team(if i am correct)!!

Our Malaysia got 5th and 8th place(not 6th place) as i can see from the score..

Congrats to K.O.2 for just missing out by 3 point for 3rd placing..

The teams consisting of Sanko, coolice, sup3rfly, irenic and hahalol did a great job! I am very sure they tried their best but most of the guys up against them were too seasoned for them it is a good experience and I'm sure they'll do good for the next competition! 3 cheers for them!
