Imo, allison, vvd, fab, salah, mane consider as good names before joining us.

Only bobby (bought by rogers), robbo and gini coming from small names to important player. And TAA of course if you include academy player.

Player purchased and fail to make impact - grujic, solanke

But i do agree, big names sometimes can’t cope with epl pressure especially sirie A player.

It is a 50/50 for a big name player to make it in the BPL. In fact a lot of big names fail to live up.

Thankfully we did not have that many and most recent example for us could be Morientes, Aquilani. Can't think we signed any bigger names that didn't live up to expectation.

Fab miles better than hendo. At least on defending attribute.

Obviously fab faster, whenever he received the ball, he will look up to see his option. Meanwhile hendo when he received ball, he quickly pass to his side, this will slowdown the tempo & give time to opponent to reshape
