vietnam wages is very bad. my engineer friend who worked there says with 5 years experience he's only getting around 2k Ringgit after conversion. And he's with MNC. He plan to move to HCM first and then hop to SG if possible.

Most of the normal workers earn USD 150-250 per month , especially if you are doing unskilled job like bank clerk / helpdesk . So if you imagine they move to Malaysia and even if they earning 3k-4k MYR per month is already a huge jump in finances.

Thats why if u are pretty the attraction to sell body is quite high. Imagine if 1 piap is USD50 , they sell body 4-5 times a month already earn 1 month wages.

correct. I was justifying the sex trade in Vietnam because of the currency disparity (and payscale disparity) between locals and expats.

for travelling , go to Sapa , Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi An / Danang .

for business go to Saigon(HCMC)

yeah, no worries.

My viet friends always thinking of how to migrate overseas, cant blame them.

i actually recommend lan ha bay instead of ha long bay.

In halong bay you will have your boat moored next to 7-8 other cruise ships, at night it will be damn noisy if you are next to a party cruise (those with lots of European / Aussie youngsters) The only thing cool in Ha Long bay imo is the cave where King Kong was filmed. You take a boat through a small tunnel into a huge lake. That's the only highlight , I spent the afternoon kayaking there, swimming and taking pictures.

cant help you with budget as I went a few years ago, but don't get the cheapest, that's all i can say, you do get what u paid for
