Hi..now i'm in dilemma...i've got my budget to buy ps3, but there's somethin' bothering me.. :
1. can i connect my(future) ps3 to my monitor ? cause i'm a student, and don't like to have a tv set in my room.i know there's a way,but we need tv card to do it right? so is there another way?

2. can someone tell my, how much it will cost for the blu-ray(x ori) disc?

3. importantly,can ps3 play cd/dvd x ori? cause the ori cd/dvd is too much
expensives...

help me now..cause i'm about to buy it in this week...
maybe xbox 360?

no doube mann!! just go for xbox 360.. why buy ps3 now?? just sell ur xbox360 than when ps3 have larger games library.

ps3?? just got blueray.. blueray player will come out after some time.. why go for ps3 just for blueray function

u can get a vga cable. xbox 360 got. not sure if ps3 got or not.

If ur PC Monitor support DVI,and prepared HDCP input for u already,
all u need to do is just buy a HDMI to DVI cable,
and u can play ur PS3 with ur PC monitor,with High Definition HDMI output graphics,thats wat my fren told me.Hope it'll be able to help u ,buddy.

cause i have survey the game shop, & found that even 360 didnt have many games,but ok, compared to ps3...

i think u need a HDMI-DVI cable,bro,not a DVI-HDMI cable.
Coz the input and output are different.

1.Yup,Xbox360 Elite is black colour,with more larger hard drive capacity.It seems like Microsoft had improved the heat spread,but who knows?Maybe the 3rod nightmare will once again appear.

360 got a lot of games,if u compare it with PS3.Actuallt,i'm planning to buy a PS3,coz i'm attracted by Ninja Gaiden Sigma,but other than this game,i don't know what games am i going to purchase.Sounds sad

There's tonnes of A grade games coming to the PS3. Gran Turismo, MGS4, FF series, God Of War 3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma etc. It's worth your investment.

No such thing, HDMI-DVI cable are bi-directional. So they work both ways.

im thinking of buying PS3 as well. but since its expensive going to settle with 22" lcd monitor only. no point getting 1080p lcd tv when its hard to notice the quality difference (for smaller screen) and ive read somewhere only good for 50"+ lcd tv.

The Elite is not using the new 65nm CPU.
