I'm ready to start an account with TradeStation Global. I read the FAQ on the first page, do I need to actually keep GBP2k float inside the TradeStation or 2k total invested?

I also saw in their website to open the account, we have to start with USD1k to start.

So if I use Instrarem to transfer USD1k, does that mean that I can only buy EFTs which are traded in USD? Or after I open the TradeStation, I can just transfer GBP1k and that would be acceptable as well?
