QUOTE(Ramjade @ May 16 2020, 12:28 AM) You can choose stock or etf. Up to you. interactive broker consider under own name right?Of course custodian. You can forget about under own name unless you open a local brokerage in that country (fly there, open account/email and see if they accept you) get to vote in AGM, annual report and etc. |

QUOTE(alexkos @ Jun 10 2020, 01:34 PM) QUOTE(Chounz @ Jun 10 2020, 02:00 PM) hahaa, that's my understanding as well.... I'm leaning towards UK protection instead of assuming US protection, simply because I'm seeing Tradestation Global Ltd (UK) in the reports statements as well as balances listed under UK Securities in Trader Workstation (Portfolio -> Account).i always thought as long IB is protected then should be fine... |

QUOTE(alexkos @ Jan 8 2020, 06:01 PM) hehe, my survey has just received ethical clearance. So who wants to be my white mouse? Janji ada cute voucher to motivate you hehe hehe, missed the first paid survey? Worry not, the second round of paid survey (reserved for lowyat sp500/etf forum users) will be opened soon content would be on investing behavior. Requirement: currently invested passively in indexes such as SP500. Passive investing trend is poised to take over the rest of the globe as US active funds outflow is still very alarming. either let me know your interest via pm, or quote me in forum (but must write constructive post to fulfill lowyat form requirement ya). #if you have participated the first time, please don't join itu bursa macam can purchase FAANG stock index now, it's a good milestone for Malaysian investors hope everyone do well, stay safe, stay healthy, together we can win covid-19 sekian alex |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Jun 24 2020, 07:47 AM) Login to client portal. Go report. Does it happen to you guys that the dividend (partial payment is in the mode of stocks) and IBKR gave you more stocks than you should get and deduct $ from your account?Go to activity. You can generate daily, monthly, annual or custom. It will be web based (html) with option to generate PDF. It's like forcing me to buy the said stock lol. |
