Is is EQQQ:LSEETF ticker? or which ticker symbol you go for?
EQQQ only having EQQQ:BVME and EQQQ:LSEETF on IBKR

Can't comment as i didn't go for it. the price of EQQQ:LSEETF looks weird on IBKR though so i won't touch it.

u see the ETF EQQQ naming is same so they are same ETF, just they're listed in different exchanges

Borsa Italiana (BVME)
LSE (London Stock Exchange)

for question of which exchange to go for, up to you, factoring in commission charge of TradeStation is different for different exchange.
i remember BVME is cheaper

EQQQ:LSEETF is priced in GBx pence steering (British decimal coins)

so the pricing figure is big

18,800.00 GBx = 188 GBP

if u were to buy EQQQ:LSEETF, just convert to GBP and buy, TradeStation aka IBKR will handle the GBx:GBP hassle without any charge

thou I dont like pricing in GBx, personal preference

i have been studying the ETFs - while most recommend going for SXR8 or CSPX, i am personally drawn to and looking at VUSD

https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/VUSD.L?p=VUSD.L

1) irish domicile
2) same 0.07% TER
3) USD denominated
4) LSE - ETF no stamp duty
5) higher volume than SXR8
6) and currently lower price than the other candidates.

the only difference is the dividend is distributing type.

Any comments?

No difference if distribution or accumulation. Distribution is better cause you can pick what time and amount you invest.
You can buy when it's cheaper.

pay the IBKR forex? transfer to AUD then USD for better rates?

approaching this as lower entry cost = more units and more upsides

alternatively maybe VUSA in GBP?

For TSG, you may refer to this website for the review.
https://brokerchooser.com/broker-reviews/tr...iew-part-safety

TradeStation Global is an introducing broker of Interactive Brokers. If TradeStation Global suddenly defaults, no worries: your assets would be handled by Interactive Brokers, which is also regulated by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Should be covered in the above link for TSG covered by UK finance authority, if you have more than GBP85k/USD100k in total asset better transfer to Interactive Brokers LLC (US) for the higher SIPC (securities) & FDIC (cash) + Lloyd's insurance coverage. You also benefit from them sweeping cash more than USD250k around several banks.

Would like to understand the protection as well.

Since TSG is actually using Interactive Broker, shouldn't the protection apply to both TSG and Interactive Broker? why need transfer to IB directly?

Can't really read the complete article in the link provided as the website need to subscribe.

tsg is UK company so $ is covered under UK law...does not matter where tsg holds your $

rourus meant to transfer "account" over to ibkr...ie, open new account with ibkr US...so that your $ is covered under US law

but actually TSG don't really provide the trading service and holding cash right? Even when we deposit money, buy share all also done in IB account and platform.

So not really sure on the protection should be cover TSG or IB?
