I'm "expecting" prices to break Monday's high tonight, and hopefully Friday's high by weekend...

feds says not doing anything for now...that's why pumping...

dca methods....1) regular fixed period (every Friday, end of month, payday, etc) or, 2) big dips for the week/month/quarter/etc...

all got pros and cons...

You are right... Only US market.
Which do you recommend for low frequency inactive user like me?
*
for 99% of the ppl here - tradestation global

if you're buying big amount one shot, captrader will be slightly cheaper

both tradestation global and captrader are introducing "white label " brokers to ibkr

once you build up enough capital > $100k, can just migrate over to ibkr llc for even lower fees

charles schwab buying over tdameritrade...they are going to be the world's largest...not sure what is going to happen to fees n international trades

market quite extended... very irrational now...lol

at the moment it's been 2 days flat waiting for trigger up or down

yesterday's candle closed neutral...didn't give any direction bias... so back to holding pattern

I'm giving it a 60:40 chance between tonight and next week...I may change my mind after tonight... biggrin.gif

explore new instruments called micro e-mini futures in US. Launched since May 2019 and is very popular now.....IBKR offers just 0.47c per contract vs Malaysia brokers charging USD4.
Check out more at:

*
please don't mislead...that is just a small part of total fee

also there is a $10 per month fee if you are inactive or cant cover by >$10 commissions going with ibkr

micro emini fee is also not cost effective imho

Here is a proper comparison of Interactive Brokers Lite vs IBKR Pro is you want to save fees. IBKR Lite does not have maintenance fee which came out recently. I'm here not to mislead but to help the little guy not to be ripped off by exorbitant local broker fees. all the best !

Interactive Brokers Lite vs IBKR Pro:
https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=45500
*
lite is for USA and India only...we don't qualify

anyways...99.99% ppl here already signed up with Tradestation Global, a whitelabel of ibkr

edit: also I apologize saying you're misleading...maybe too harsh now that I realize you're just starting out and just sharing what you found but don't have all the fine prints/details. there's a ibkr thread in the stock market subthread if you wanna check out
