Yes, you can. All PS4 comes with an internal universal power supply. You just have to change the cable with a 3-pin head or use an adapter.

Not worth it. Go for Malaysia set.
If buy for sentimental or souvenir purpose, different story. |

QUOTE(pakdamek @ Feb 26 2019, 10:53 AM) last time my nintendo wii was blocked because it is a japan set used in Malaysia. locked during update. that's why I asked No such issue. Any console can play any games from any region. Limitations are 1. Some Blu-ray movies might be region locked. But I don’t think people get PS4 for Blu-ray movies these days. 2. You can sign up for US or Asia PSN. However, if you’ve a Japan psn account, you’ll create a new one(Malaysia PSN) to download dlc for the games bought in Malaysia. Also, region lock will probably be a thing of the past soon. Switch is region free. And even cross play between consoles are a thing now. But for other reasons stated above, no point getting it overseas unless you’re staying there for a significant amount of time. This post has been edited by LegendLee: Feb 26 2019, 02:48 PM |

If you buy normal set, then not really significant with Malaysia set.
Unless, the ps4 Japan that you planned to buy is a special model i.e Kingdom Heart Edition, Ace Combat 7 edition, FF15 edition etc This post has been edited by Dominic Toretto: Feb 26 2019, 04:28 PM |

Don't forget Uncle Kastam sure will kacau you, there's no way you can hide such big item without them noticing, unless you throw away the boxes, and make them look less new, which IMO, not worth it
