The acer kg241qp works with gsync. I have this monitor and tested with 1080ti. Unless your nvidia graphics is older then a 1000 series.

A quick google search regarding G-sync on freesync monitor will yield some YouTube videos and web pages.

QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Feb 28 2019, 03:21 AM) Guys wta if you are getting a 144hz monitor without vsync or gsync, what must your lowest fps be at to avoid screen tearing??? vsync or gsync, works by matching the fps produced by your pc to the refresh rate of the monitor preventing screen tearing. When playing a game, FPS fluctuates depending on the rendering load. There is no lowest fps to avoid screen tearing, any differences in between FPS produced and refresh rate creates screen tearing. I think I will just get the Alienware aw2518h. Tbh i dont think many esport gamers will enable gsync because even you get 100fps for ultra setting, gysnc/freesync will cut of some fps. If your are playing triple A games it a different story because usually we will crap up all to highiest setting for better graphic look. For esport title usually people will turn off gysnc for higher fps for example dota and csgo. But nvidia does support freesync monitor for 10-series and 20-series of their gpu.Now I need to know if my fps is about 100fps shouldn't be a problem right since it has gsync and my graphic card is Nvidia?? |

Hdmi is 60 only. And the factory default color is shitty Need calibrate ourselves Same problem exist for most 144hz monitor. Try Google monitor color wash out 144hz and you will see it is common problem Xf240h probably is the cheapest gsync compatible monitor. But of course many other works for gsync without problem Also, it has LFC, most cheaper freesync monitor does not support this. This post has been edited by wanttobuylaptop: Apr 22 2019, 01:08 PM |

And yes there are other company making the panel of course. but generally you wont get much information about the maker of the panel brand like viewsonic get whatever panel they can get, some good, some bad which actually is the standard practice tho but for taiwan brand, most of them are using AUO panel, which has a certain level of quality so they will advertise so QUOTE(goldfries @ May 8 2019, 04:32 AM) I use 144Hz and 240hz, there is slight difference and I can say that it doesn't justify the price premium to choose 240hz over 144Hz. but the panel must be very good on 240hz yes? how is the color accuracy and overall graphic quality?i realize a hack on gsync... i can activate gsync with android emulator, and if watching video on it, gsync actually works... or maybe my brain told me so, feels good This post has been edited by wanttobuylaptop: May 8 2019, 03:56 PM |

TN panels nowadays are very good, side by side with my IPS I can't tell the difference. Also gaming no need color accuracy actually, I'm sure no one actually does a print screen and find out actual colors of the grass and compare to what's seen on screen and decided how accurate it is. In games, as long as red is red, green is green and blue is blue - PLAY!!! Many don't even realize using different graphics card have different color output.; |

QUOTE(RiriRuruRara @ Feb 25 2019, 03:18 PM) What is the best 24" 144hz monitor to get? I google this but answers all were 244hz monitor which is a overkill bcs i will only be playing fortnite. just bought this new monitor from samsung. qled. 144hz 1080p 1ms response time and it wasnt too expensive, 250 or so euro with shipping and tax or just above 1.1k MYR.Samsung C24FG73 is the model name. there is a 27 inch variant too. Coming from a 60 hz ips display, this is worlds apart, its very smooth on fortnite. colour accuracy is brilliant out of the box too. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Amazon DE link This post has been edited by fat cat: May 9 2019, 09:22 PM |

My 144hz benq 2411 just faulty. Bought Asus 24" IPS panel notice the coloration better but then when play CS go with 60Hz coming from playing 144Hz, feel dizzy.
Now hunt for 144Hz monitor. |

You can try contact samsung malaysia and ask if they support product bought from overseas. |
