Hi now I am unsure should I get a BenQ xl2411p or a Alienware aw2518h?
*
i dont think 240 hz would be that great of an impact compare to 144hz
plus, if your budget is tat high, i would suggest a 2k 144hz ips?
ASUS ROG Swift PG278QR is pretty nice choice.

Imho va and ips panel have different concern, mainly blacklight bleeding and slow respond time
And yes i do mean tn panel that is from auo will have washout color worse than other
Va and ips generally have better color than tn after all
*
is it AUO the only company make TN panel? no other companies make TN panel?
if yes, does the colour quality are much better than panel from AUO?

I use 144Hz and 240hz, there is slight difference and I can say that it doesn't justify the price premium to choose 240hz over 144Hz.

they are like one of the biggest of TN panel manufacturer.
And yes there are other company making the panel of course.
but generally you wont get much information about the maker of the panel
brand like viewsonic get whatever panel they can get, some good, some bad
which actually is the standard practice tho
but for taiwan brand, most of them are using AUO panel, which has a certain level of quality so they will advertise so

but the panel must be very good on 240hz yes? how is the color accuracy and overall graphic quality?

i realize a hack on gsync...
i can activate gsync with android emulator, and if watching video on it, gsync actually works...
or maybe my brain told me so, feels good

TN panels nowadays are very good, side by side with my IPS I can't tell the difference.

Also gaming no need color accuracy actually, I'm sure no one actually does a print screen and find out actual colors of the grass and compare to what's seen on screen and decided how accurate it is.

In games, as long as red is red, green is green and blue is blue - PLAY!!!

Many don't even realize using different graphics card have different color output.;

I should be more specific, using AMD vs Nvidia cards the output is different.

It's been like that for ages.

just bought this new monitor from samsung. qled. 144hz 1080p 1ms response time and it wasnt too expensive, 250 or so euro with shipping and tax or just above 1.1k MYR.

Samsung C24FG73 is the model name. there is a 27 inch variant too.

Coming from a 60 hz ips display, this is worlds apart, its very smooth on fortnite. colour accuracy is brilliant out of the box too.

My 144hz benq 2411 just faulty. Bought Asus 24" IPS panel notice the coloration better but then when play CS go with 60Hz coming from playing 144Hz, feel dizzy.
Now hunt for 144Hz monitor.

i think it is more towards to driver color profile or so on
manually install icc profile and set as default likely will eliminate any different

I think you will need to send back to amazon if anything. You can try contact samsung malaysia and ask if they support product bought from overseas.
