Any idea how maxis manages esim if I regularly switch phones ?

Just scan the qr code only each time I want to switch phone like a physical card?

Using Celcom eSIM + SG carrier nano SIM now. Both stable

Next time traveling overseas will try 3HK Travel eSIM. need to pay in HK$ but can activate using QR email from them

Oh thanks man. I’m using maxis physical and wanting to use my company line Digi as esim so I stop using two phones. It’s a headache sometimes. Planning to try it out this week. Just wondering if anyone seen issues.

i tried the 3HK before, what i want to say is very useful, i also have flexiroam
you can try flexiroam, the global plan bit pricey, but you can buy local plan for the traveling country earlier to get cheaper price
for example, traveling to thailand, 500MB@USD0.90 for 3 days if purchase 60days earlier if not mistaken

my flexiroam esim can rebind to new phone, previously i tie on my Xs, after change to 11 pro, i just scan again on my 11 pro, no issue
somehow maxis esim require a new qr code for my 11 pro

wonder why some can make it reuse (i tested my flexiroam recently oversea with my 11 pro, seems reuse is fine)

K will look at Flexiroam. I read 3HK allow multi countries use once start using. Also can stop few days and continue to use some other days - can save the validity of days

AIS tourist eSim probably offer the best data roaming rates now. Comes with an app to monitor data usage, credit balance and validity.
OYA also worth investing in, no data expiry, although now only 3 countries, they will expand soon. Currently selling S$5 for 5GB, that is a steal. I bought up 50gb smile.gif

Where can I sign up for AIS tourist eSim?
I did check with the airport booth but it can only be done in AIS outlets.

man i really need the esim compatibility. i think its actually a really good thing that we are getting rid of the physical sim. that way apple can make use of that space and change it to something else instead.

the only downside is if the softaware is shit, then the esim capabilities will be bottlenecked as well
