Hi Guys,

I am planning to buy Honda City, but my friends and car enthusiasts said wait for the new model.
Anyone has any idea or hint, that the new facelift will be out any time this year or next year?

Thanks! smile.gif

Yeap, facelifted in 2017/2018 according to the salesman. Was wondering if any new design/facelift coming out or not next year.

Impossible it will be that wide. City will be narrow and light. If u see city with wide body and big rims, its too good to be true.

B segment characteristics, light body, narrow frame, ugly small rims. All this is needed for car to easily achieve 15km/L.

I have sit in numerous past gen vios and city. Every new model added only few mm. Still small, still ugly, but yeah, very fuel efficient.

How I wish b segment got turbo variant engine like civic turbo. But it cannot be done. B segment I dont think got thick wallet like civic turbo user to pay for the fuel price.

Wow hearing this makes me feel like I've made the best choice. Wanted to go for civic.. But don't want to commit too much. So, I guess city is the best, fuel efficient, comfortable, and beautiful interior..

Actually the more I look at it, the more it looks like a new honda accord. Because segment B cars do not have such long and wide front, and usually tyres are small.

yeah, city's silhouette didn't change much over the past 2 gens.

dont think honda will make it "hatchy" anytime soon.

I think so too. So far no photos being leaked. I believe when reach Malaysia should be 2020 Q3 onwards. But I may be wrong.
Even Toyota Vios's new design also based on old mold.
