I am struggle to deicide whether to send my wife to PCMC or setapak Columbia.

This is because PCMC has good doctors , good services and alot of good review on doctor but the distance to PCMC from my house is about 15km

Setapak Columbia - We went to visit Dr Sudha Kumari , and check onljne about her service and review , not much information to get online. But Columbia setapak is only 3km from my house.

I am worried just in case if my wife ready to deliver, 20km should reach in 30min but if go between 5pm -7pm it might take atleast 1 hour to reach due to the jamming.

So i need some good advise. Thanks in advance

Hmmm Columbia is a well known hospital....I think would be safe to say your wife would be in safe hands.

But for your ease of mind, I suggest you personally visit Setapak Columbia and seek an appointment with said Dr and she would walk you through certain scenario's and what to expect etc.

All the best.

IMHO i will prefer good dr, 30mins drive r still acceptable, once ur wife got the contraction pain getting more n more intense and frequent, then only go to the hospital.

all the best buddy...

Hi, I live in Subang Jaya and delivered my baby in Pantai KL. I chose this hospital because of this famous gynae who is highly recommended and has good reviews online too.

Also.... hard to say when baby decides to come out. Just hope n pray it’s not during rush hour la but I will still go with Pantai for next baby too even though it’s far from home
