Is this 2 separate products or is the other rod further out in front part of the same product. Looks nice. Good max load rating.

Two separate products. The one in foreground is actually the manual version where there is no remote control and no heat wave in case to dry in rainly days.

However the automated one with red colored heat wave on can be extended and opened up to take more laundry. At RM2699 you can almost get a tumble dryer but some people like to dry naturally. In some instances less wrinkles on certain clothing

Thanks for clarifying. Good to know that they have manual single rods also.

Similar to HOUM and Steigen (sold in SG) except the latter's high end model supposedly can repel dust mites. Yes, many esp older folks prefer under the sun...UV and IR all in one...free. Dryers consume electricity regardless and have their TLC issues depending upon type especially condensers whereas this one should satisfy folks who prefer old fashion way and yet give them the flexibility on wetter days.

Went Klcc today and found out many products said offer which free this free that, actually something like count in. I get an offer for an induction cooker which cost RM4k around, they got free a lot of thing. After I said consider, they give me another price which exclude those free things and the differences is big. So means when you purchase some products which got many things free, some is add in the price ady.

Wifey likes to dry clothes naturally despite we have the usual tumble dryer. It is not scientific but she things drying it naturally the clothing will last longer. If you use the usual dryer, everything inside is subject to high heat until all are dry from jeans to more delicate stuff.

Saving electricity is probably minor but it's there if you have big family. This type you can just use natural sunlight to dry.

UV actually damage the cloth or whatever under it without protection much faster. Color fake faster. It is not going to last longer.

To kill the bac and germ from the cloth by UV, you can expose it for shot time only. Not hr.

Actually this model doesn't use UV (unlike Houm). It is using heat wave and hence you can see the red color.

Yeah. I agree the price is expensive.

My friend more cost down. He put indoor.

Use ceiling fan and pool hanger from ceiling. Less than 400 total I guess. Run the ceiling fan low speed for overnight is still cheap on bill.

What do you based your conclusion on?
I am actually have not decided on getting one. But I did compared the features. This product is actually using better and thicker gauge rods, the rod can be extended to dry larger blanket, 316L for it's cables, etc. Houm hasn't updated it's product for sometimes.

I just looked at the company who makes it.. and i trust Houm more than a brand called Precious Lady. Hahaha

Anyway, i just paid for Houm today. smile.gif Rm2064 + installation rm175.. promo till 28 feb only.

It's your money and do whatever makes you happy. I am not sure if Houm's heating element is emitting UV to dry. The new equipment is using heating element without UV.

Heating element is a resisatance type or you call it heater. UV only can produce by light.

Heating element depend on what wattage. It can cause high consumption of usage. Cause the air in not recirculated like dryer.
