Speaking of singaporean food, i'd rather travel there and eat, during holiday of course.

There's a particular pasta stall at Harbourfront Vivo city's Bagus food court, their spicy chicken arabiata is super nice. The best part is, you can sprinkle as many parmesan cheese as you like. Selling at S$8 per plate. If you compare to those pasta sold at our local food court, it's beyond comparison.

Of course, if you convert to rm that would be expensive but based on the living cost there, it's pretty decent for something sold at food court.

Im sorry that i talked rubbish a lot, i don't know any singaporean restaurant here in KL. But im sure the singapore curry laksa at secret recipe tastes quite ok.

Malaysian and Singaporean foods share the same roots. It's like saying the same assam laksa but prepared in Penang and Kedah style.

Singaporean curry laksa is a bit different from ours. Their curry laksa gravy can be very thick and some cooked with dried shrimps.

Of course, they do have their own food as well. The matter isn't about who is the original creator but who prepared the best version.

Thick curry laksa and all kind of gravy also existed in Malaysia. I don't consider that is the difference  biggrin.gif

Do you know any restaurant here serves the curry laksa similar to the singaporean style which is cooked with dried shrimps and more to the creamy coconut taste? I find it the AK Noodle House's seafood based curry laksa quite nice but still not the same like the one i had in singapore.

Funny how Singaporean are claiming Hainan chicken rice as their own. The whole word itself have the word Hainan on it...

And also it's funny that China just sits there and relax watching us fighting for one of many thousands dishes available in China.

Here's an update. Singaporean pasta company, Pastamania opened two branches here at sunway velocity and klia2. I tried their local Pastamania at Causeway point Woodlands not bad. The menu is petty common serving ala carte pasta and pizza.

If you have bored with our local pasta can give it a try, but i wouldn't consider that as Singaporean food obviously.
