I work from 8:30am to 6pm every weekday, I always want to finish my backlog of games but have to go to bed by 10pm so I end up only playing games for 10-15 mins per night. For all you gamers, how do you manage your time when your juggling work/responsibilities?

I still play my PC games. Just be disciplined. I play alternate days and every session is like 2 hours. Its ME time, so I play.

I also realise if you dont focus on finishing the game fast, you will enjoy the game more. Less stress and just go slow slow.

in this aspect, I am fortunate to work away from family. so every time is me time.

normally i can get about 1 to 1.5 hr of gaming everyday (or alternatively, watch movies) before I go to bed at 9.30 pm (takes about 30 mins for me to actually sleep).

i usually reach home from work at around 7pm+. After dinner + shower + some quality time with wife, i have about 1-2 hours of me time before i sleep. between those 1-2 hrs, i have to decide to browse internet or movie or gaming. Usually ends with either the 1st or 2nd cause too little time for game, no shiok. After awhile, i am feeling uninterested to play games even deep in my soul i want to. sad.gif

Tried sleeping at 12 but will feel lousy the next day. Maybe because I'm old. cry.gif

Nowadays I find it impossible to find time to play games, not sure how people could do it when life gets in the way. hmm.gif

old? How old are you bro?

I'm among the oldest gamers here, with both family & work commitment
yet I still can squeeze in one or two hours of gaming daily depends on mood

how early you need to wake up? once you're getting older, you tends to require lesser sleep time
as long as I gets minimal 6 hours of sleep, I'm all good the next day

sleep too early says around 10 or 11pm, I'll tend to wake up in the middle of the night around 3, 4am, and will have problem getting back to sleep
hence I sleep around 12am, and my me time starts from 10pm, when my family all already gone to bed. wink.gif

finding time to game is not that hard wink.gif

most of my play time is in weekends, I live away from family so I can get extended me time.

once in a while comes a game that can work in short session, I can play at night for like 30 minutes, use the PS4 suspend feature to get more play time out of it.

Just got a new job recently. Need to stayback quite often until late night, so I don't really have any mood to play sp story focused games. Will play mp games like fortnite or apex.

Sleep is for the weak! Game on. Jokes aside, OP; you sleep surprisingly early. Maybe find an extra hour or two by sleeping at 11 or 12. Should be sufficient rest I think?

Old PS4 gamer here. Trophy ranking stagnant liao. Still collecting special editions but only playing selected games to plat it.

Best way to juggle work and stuff, start investing enough so one day don't have to work and just live off your investments.

Otherwise its just the nights (or late nights if you can get by with less sleep) for you.

i am a married guy w/ one daughter (8yo).

office hour from 0730-1730hrs (mon-thu) and half-day on friday.

arrive home around 1745-1800hrs. sometime went for jogging for 30-45minutes. if i dont go for jogging, immediately play game.

1930hrs maghrib prayer then help my daughter with her homework and teach her recite quran.

usually around 2030hrs, can start play game already. at most up to 2230hrs. i start to feel sleepy after that. sleep time until 0615hrs.

during weekend, gaming time is quite long. usually after done with house chores/buy groceries/laundry work.

so far still manageable for me.

Which is why Nintendo Switch FTW. Play anywhere anytime, just put to sleep mode anytime, and continue next week from same spot without even need to save game.

saturday after lunch till late night
sunday play whole day

yea, still single and doing my best to stay away from obnoxious human crowds, so hiding back at home, putting on the headset and set into the land of FFXIV (recently hooked) is my best choice..

I have books to read, games to play, shows to watch. Gaming really depends on mood, sometimes you are into a certain titles, i can spend all the afterwork hours to play them. Usually these titles that really hook come far and in between. So mostly it just depends on mood. You don't have to play all the games in the world.

Well TS, u can always divide day to play games in between. Maybe weekday u spend 2 night, eg. Wednesday n Friday for games. N the rest of the other days u can go sleep early, or do other things. Probability for u to finish one game took longer, but least u can still play. Or weekend u reedem urself n play games longer.

1. Invest in Nintendo Switch. Buy Switch version of your fav PC game (if any) or just play Switch games. Sure, you'll have limited graphics but you still get to play them.

2. Invest in a portable gaming laptop. I bring my Alienware 14 with me to game during lunch and after office hours. And I usually balik lambat since balik awal will be jem anyway so I rather play games until a bit later and balik when the traffic is clearer.

3. Tido awal, bangun awal. I wake up at 4 every morning and plays games sometimes until about 6 then baru go to gym which is near my office and mandi at the gym before masuk office.

Depend on the game. If single player game, anytime when it is available.. depends on mood also. Sometimes malas to play, use the time to watch movies instead.

If multiplayer.. kena set timing with the squad..
Standard 9:30-12 midnight.

Why sleep so early bro? Early shift?

Have to sacrifice sleep time for gaming. Averagely sleep around 5 hours will be good. sometimes average 4 hours only. 😭

On weekdays.... i probably average 3-4 hours throughout the week.

Weekends depends on my schedule, maybe another 3-4 hours throughout the weekend. 6-8 hours if I am lucky and there's nothing on my plate.

Currently playing GTA: Vice City on Xbox, and Forza Motorsport 4 on Xbox 360.

I'm married with 2 kids. I woke up daily at 6am, prepares my kid to school (kindergarten, another kid study from home lol), send kid to school at 8am, then go workout and jogging. eat, sleep. 12pm pickup kid, then off to work. Come back from work at 6pm, lepak2 with kids, dinner, read book, then i start playing game usually from 9pm to 1 or 2am, depend on how tired i am that day. I only play game when my kids are asleep. Waifu usually watch her movie on her Ipad at that time
