Which brand of camera is the best? Canon, Nikon or Sony? Should I get a DSLR or a digital camera?

I think a lot of people like Sony cause it's an electronics brandname and some camera models is trendy and very compact. Good camera but the ones I mention are the better ones. Sony camera also uses it's own more expensive Memory Card instead of SD card unlike the others I've mention except Fujifilm that uses xD card. Nevertheless Sony camera uses good Carl Zeiss lens. The best I think is just buy which ever brand and model that looks good and feels good on your hands.

Sony compact PnS (RM1K-RM1.5k)
1. DSC-W80
2. DSC-T20 (this one looks stylish)
3. DSC-W35/DSC-S700/DSC-S650/DSC-W55

You can check out more camera choices @ http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs.asp

w35/w55 using carl zeiss lens but still using real imaging processor....s700/s650 not to mention cause look bulky and using AA battery, somemore cheap lens....

t20 and w80 is ok cause using bionz processor and carl zeiss lens.....depend on what outlook u like la....w80 cheaper rm150 than t20.spec is same, just t20 look nice abit lo...

I think you need to ask if SIZE is important to you? brows.gif

If small is better, then a simple stylish compact will do? i.e, sony t series
