Hello Sifu,

I have recently encounter a very inconsiderate neighbour. As neighbours, we should be considerate amongst one another as we will be sharing an area together.

Well, I’m living at a two storey terrace house and parking are limited. Each house can accommodate one car inside and one outside the gate.

This particular house has 5 cars and parks one car inside while the rest of the 4 cars park around the area. This house decided to place “flower pots” at places where they usually park.

During CNY, I have friends over and one of my friend parked in between the small gap between two of their “flower pots”. I have visitors over at my place once a year. I didn’t even know my friend parked in between his flower pots.

This neighbour came over and started to scream at me at about 2am when he got back home saying I couldn’t park there as he had placed his “flower pots” there to book his parking.

May I know is it even legal to book parking with flower pots? Or is there an authority in JPJ I can take legal action?

Agree, all the locations, not including your land borders, are shared and for public use (unless strata title, which means only residents).
