Dear all, kindly note that we have received an official update for the Creative audio extension and the crackling issue has been resolved as per testing by the manufacturer & our technical team 😊 Please be advised that the official driver update is included as a part for the Windows May 2019 update. Let us know if the issue still persisted on your end. Thank you very much.

Guys i would like to ask is there any different between the 9th i7 9750h gen and 8th i7 8750h gen cpu ? Main use will be for rendering and gaming. Still deciding with these two model. sad.gif

Hi Barackboy, Yes there is a difference between the 9th Gen i7-9750H and i7-8750H 8th Gen processor. Technically the 9th gen processor has higher clock speed for processing power comparing to the 8th Gen predecessor. While other specs, such as the cache, cores and threads and etc, remains the same. For your reference, the below link is to the difference for both of the processors. Hope this clarifies.

Hi

Does Selenite supports double sided nvme drives and would it cause thermal problems? Also, what is the key type supported on m.2 slots?
*
Hi SaiyanGoku, Good Morning and Thank you for your inquiries. Selenite has two SSD slots, which the first one is M.2 SATA (B + M key) and NVMe (M key) compatible and second slot is NVMe exclusive compatible. So far, it will not cause thermal issues as there is a padding (cooling pad) on the panel for both SSD slots. Hope this clarifies.

Yes, as stated before i have completed all windows update. the speaker is still crackling and popping randomly. also, i noticed in the BIOS the lowest undervolt i can set is -50mV. but reading through the forum, there are people who can undervolt in BIOS to -150mV even to -185mV. in my bios, it maxed out at -50mV. any idea?

FYI, my realtek driver is 8619. I can see that there are many owners here facing the same issue.
