The sound volume and quality improve a lot after the Sound Blaster work properly 

This is a very lonely thread. So little people using the Selenite? It's like looking for Kryptonite...

I think most of them in Illegear gaming laptop thread.

Not many selenite owner i guess.

the speaker for S5 is so low in volume...

Yes it's true but I find it weird for the driver to work properly, a window update is required. Shouldn't the update all include inside the driver during installation? A bit of a hassle if you ask me to update the window

Is anyone experiencing chassis wobble on tables ? mine seem to wobble when I open the lid, specifically, on the left hand rest.

Mine is on the bottom right. The wobble is pretty noticeable at times too, every time I pick my hand up from the palm rest the entire laptop will shift. But like I said before picking it up and putting it back down again seems to fix it. Haven't tried to see if it's the feet yet, I thought it was initially but they look all equally set in.

Yea that's roughly the same battery time I'm getting right now. Maybe just a little longer than 1.5 hours. Doing a Windows battery report shows that my current full charge capacity is only 28,500 mWh when the design capacity is at 46,740 mWh. Quite a steep drop for a 5 month old laptop.

that was what window 10 estimated in the battery option. In actual use, it alot shorter then that. 

Hey Guys.

I need some help here. I recently reformat my windows because some updates mess up my software and I cant use certain setting for my work. I have reinstall all the laptop's drivers successfully except for the sound driver. I installed the sound driver following this step:

realtek audio >  soundblaster app > creative audio effect component > spkeq_tf_pcapp

I did a window update after that but the sound still broken and soundbluster app is offline.

I tried reinstall and reformat few times but I still cant manage to make it work again. Please help if you guys have a solution, thanks

Hi guys, just faced an issue when i was playing DMC 5, suddenly laptop gone BSOD and unable to get back to main screen for awhile. Stucked on boot settings cause it can't detect my primary SSD which is where all the windows system stored. Waiting for 10 mins then only it can reach main desktop screen again. What's the problem? Overheat issue? Had only been using my selenite for less than 4 months and i don't even use it that often. Advance thanks for any assistance.

I have the same issue with battery. I was expecting 3 hours for non intensive tasks on office mode with turbo boost disabled and cpu undervolt but all I see is 1Hr 30 Minutes remaining on windows battery meter.

Hi, why is the Illegear support line in whatsapp not really responsive? Anyway, i'll just ask the question here. Since i have to send my laptop in for RMA, how long will it usually take? And i can't back up my files as i can't even turn on to main desktop screen. Would like to ask if is it possible not to interfere with my sshd?

It would appear that the new illegear command center v1.0.0.45 is very buggy.

1. The new command center will switch off keyboard RGB lighting after few minutes of idling. the display can still be on, but the keyboard lighting will go off. and when you move your mouse, the entire system will freeze for a second trying to turn on the keyboard lighting.

2. Office mode (standard/eco/basic/advanced) no longer lower the CPU PL1 and PL2 TDP to 35W. It will be the same 80W as gaming mode. In other words, there's no difference between gaming mode and office mode.

3. Sometimes, the new command center will not start with windows.

I see. Alright thanks. I been searching info and go around shopping mall check the same series laptop. Comparing Asus RoG, Msi Gs75 and etc. The only reason why I choose illegear is the single keylit mechanism. I not sure but I think there's a function where the keyboard is dark and whatever key we pressed, the keylit will on. I saw it in the advertisement and that's what make me press the button.

I personally feel that
A. Asus series are way too high profile with their RGB lights. Not gonna feel comfortable if I bring RoG into Starbucks.
B. MSI gs75 still got the best look but bad temperature (previous gs70 owner) and without the single key feedback that I mentioned above.

I placed my order 17/11 Sun. Let's see how many days I will receive it from Sarawak.

What version of command center did your laptop come with? If it's 1.0.0.45, u can downgrade it to 1.0.0.39 and set it to office/eco mode which will limit the TDP of CPU to 35W. 1.0.0.45 is very buggy.

To Illegear staff: I have found this tool on the notebook review forums. It is a fan manager that allopws for deeper control over the fans

My selenite is having blue screen error now.
using memtest64 to check my ram, it shows no error so i think might not ram issue
im have disable my undervolt setting already, still getting blue screen
