Before there was BHP, Shell fuels have been great at providing power and smooth quiet engine especially the 97s and V-Power Racing....

But nowadays, Shell 95 doesn't do much in my Gen2...even Petronas now is better than Shell..  whistling.gif

I see. Too bad tried on my old car, every fuel giving quite the same result. But feel better with Caltex. More ohhhmmm...

Its only caltex for me, more pick up, smooth, and generally no problem for all my cars...tried the new bhp, but nothing special compare to caltex, if no choice then I don't mind..shell is sluggish and higher consumption - new petronas haven't try yet but after the latest news about car problem after pump petronas, am kinda sceptical already

I've heard lotsa complements for Caltex, but have not tried it as there's not much reward to encourage use... hmm.gif

The problem that happened at Petronas is an isolated case, and they were responsible enough to compensate all involved....

The new Petronas fuel feels better for me than the older variants, and dlmost definitely better than Shell! No BHP stations around my area, so i cannot compare

Coming from petron, using the new petronas 95 on 4th tank now. the driving experience feel the same, haven't try full throttle or driving aggressively yet.

But FC seems to be better, now by much thou. I got on average around 1km per litre more than petron.

In my Gen2, BHP makes the engine sound very rough and vibrates, though it provides good power... laugh.gif

All fuels are 99% the same. Any effect you โ€œfeelโ€ is all placebo

I agree with this, I pumped Caltex/Shell/Petronas all doesn't feel any different. Now when petrol need refill, I just pump at the nearest station regardless brand

BHP none near my area, cannot test

You won't experience any benefit of the fuel if you keep changing...

Try keeping to the same brand at least 5 full tanks...that's when you'll notice fuels are not the same even though they are all labelled as RON97/95..
