I tried on Exora Turbo & Gen2...

Not much difference in Exora, but time spent quite short thus not very fair...

But in Gen2, acceleration feels very quick & willing and fuel consumption seems good as normally a full tank of fuel is very challenging to make it through a week but I still have 1/2 a bar left before needing refuel, granted that this week's traffic on LDP is surprisingly smooth as well... hmm.gif

My Cx5 pump 2 times already. Acceleration is much more better than the older Ron95.

Gen2 acceleration is quite good, so placebo effect, lol.
When I change from driving polo sedan to gen2, walao not familiar with its rev happy and suka downshifting behavior, always overshoot to 4000 rpm above by downshifting when apply same pedal pressure, lol

I’ve been driving it for 10years, no way it’s placebo...

Didn’t know you need to pedal to the metal in a polo...

No lah, not even half way the gen2 already downshift, compared to lazy shifting on non turbo polo. Non turbo version is slow accelerating.

As someone who joined in the mystery fuel test prior to launch, I can honestly tell you the response was not really as per advertised. We was given 2 fuel on 2 different days, obviously one will be better than the other. But at the end, compared with my typical daily ron97 on a 1.5T, sluggish (or the word you would see more is smooth 😂), lack power, feels wanting, does not save fuel than normal Ron 95 even. And this comes from a test without knowing what brand it was when used, no brand snobberies here I can honestly say.

tried from caltex.

1st impression was rev is easier to climb, but a bit reluctant to shift gear.

Why on earth check the fuel consumption by how it survive for a week? Put it by km/l and that can be specific comparison.

Test primax from kajang to temerloh last cny holiday, so using karak highway all the way there.

Accord meter displayed at 12.1km/l.

On the way back temerloh to kl using BHP, getting at 13.1km/l. But i suggest that during back there are more downhill vs from kl.

Before there was BHP, Shell fuels have been great at providing power and smooth quiet engine especially the 97s and V-Power Racing....

But nowadays, Shell 95 doesn't do much in my Gen2...even Petronas now is better than Shell.. whistling.gif
