Can anyone tell me whether does Intel GMA X3100 able to support Autocad..?Thanks alot

integrated graphics ah? Autocad doesn't require high graphics. So u probably can larr.

still, we can't help if you don't specify your full specs of the pc.

here is my specs

Intel(R) Centrino(R) Core2 Duo processor T7100 (1.86 GHz)
Shared Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 (up to 256 MB total available graphics memory)
2G DDR2 RAM
Mobile Intel(R) GM965 Express chipset

I was about to ask this question too.

I thought CAD employs a lot of modelling, shading, shadowing and zoomng. Correct me if I'm wrong. I have no opportunity and knowledge to use this sophisicated sofrware.

Your spec should be fine. AutoCAD is mostly 2D...I've run AutoCAD 2000 before on Pentium 133...haha...can render 3D some more...but obviously the rendering not that good le...but still acceptable.

Autocad is able to run on your spec. I'm a designer using CAD software as well.
IMO, your spec should run Autocad 2007 just fine as long as it's in 2D or basic/a few 3D parts in it. The more 3D parts in your .dwg(Autocad) file, the slower your system rotates or pan the view(due to graphic card).

yep, so from the info u have giveth to us, we can conclude that it can support..

but if you want to see advance features.. then it might be a little laggish..
