Coming back to badminton after literally 2 decades..amazed by the amount of gear available these days. Back to beginner now..zzz

Just wondering is there any source where I can find the model/specs of my old Victor racket? '94/95 perhaps.

Just want to know the name and specs cause i love it but dont know anything about it (a kid back then). Dont even remember the name.. just know its Victor, matte black with hint of blue..

If i know the specs its easier to know what to pick going forward. Not looking to get these ancient rackets la haha. Now too many models and tech.

No idea, sorry cant help in this.

Myb u should try get any racket to try out. Any even balance spec for starter is ok. And not necessarily victor. Lots of other good brand now a day.

thanks..its more for nostalgic purpose really, cant even remember how it look. One thing I used to dislike is all the players dresscode.. those tight shorts and T with collars hahaha. Im glad they are much more varieties now.

Opinions on 100ZZ vs 88D Pro?

For doubles. Already have the old 88D but I dislike the gold color on Pro...

If u r good, 100zz works fine.

But if you aren't, it's quite punishing to use.
*
Is 88Dpro easier to handle than 100zz, and if so then why?

Im trying to getting use to stiff shafts, flex while good in some circumstances feels harder to control.

Since 100zz is compact head does it feels easier to swing compares to 88d pro, even if its slightly head heavier?

If u really keen to get astrox 100zz, better u try borrow from friend 1st and try play with it 1st just to know if it suitable for u. Sked later after buy suddenly u dont like it. Its happen to many players before, already bought but regret in the end.

1 question, what do u really need in racket actually? Pure power? User friendly?
*
Actually just curious, I've never held the Pro version (while the tour/play version i dry swung & i dont dislike), wish somebody i know has one to try biggrin.gif

I had a compact head Apacs that i liked before, but there's no power in that racket, too light.

Anyone has 100zz for rent? hahaha

i think i'm floor bias too lol.. i play better with green flooring. The light color and reflection of parquet will kind of disturb my eye, also doesnt seem as grippy.

I also decided not to restring with exbolt. Its great for repulsion after not playing for a looong time but somehow it almost felt cheating.

So far for me ultimax still da best. brows.gif

yeah i think its good for control and drops too. i try to smash less these days to keep rallying and practice more steps.

exbolt 63 are indeed slippery, i had difficulty with net using it. dont know if its the string or the yellow coating laugh.gif
