actually i dont mind any brand as long as it feel normal in the grip. last few years ago, i bought brand like Max or something around rm90. Feel like too lightweight racket for my liking. Not sure its the material or i chose the wrong racket type.

Im open for any suggestion.

you need to describe more than just saying "feel normal", do you mean about racket grip or type of racket?

Really hard to describe. But when I used my friend racket last time, I don't have to swing that much to make the shuttleck move further. Feel like it has more bounce than my racket
*
if you feel comfortable playing with it probably you should buy the same model as your friend use, ask him types of string and tension did he use.

QUOTE(yeeck @ Dec 30 2020, 03:54 PM)
Yea I agree. BG66UM still the best for me. Previously when playing 2-3x weekly I used normal BG66 the feel was like meh strings still snap once every 2 months....and durability is similar to  BG66UM, yet BG66UM has better repulsion and feel.

On the other hand I'm rewarding myself with a new Yonex racquet ArcSaber 11 although I've been trying high and low to find anyone willing to part with their Nanospeed 9900 as that was pretty awesome racquet to play with.

Have you try BG66 Force? You may like it.

Allo sifus and sifoos sekalians,

It has been a while since last posted in this thread.

Going to start playing again after many many years of hiatus.

I wonder if anyone here have any experience trying/using Ashaway Zymax Fire 62 / Kizuna Z63X, D61 and Z58?

I have used Ashaway Zymax 62 once since long ago and found it to be very good when freshly strung but doesn't last. Not in terms of string durability but the playability of the strings. It feels 'dead' after like 5 sessions.

Have been using BG80 forever as far as I can remember.
*
For strings i rather call myself yonex fanboy. im not sure about other brand quality or maybe I'm too sceptical about it. So Yonex all the way. sweat.gif

QUOTE(findecano1 @ Jan 7 2021, 10:18 PM)
Hmmm seems like Kizuna string characteristics might need the string to be pre stretched in this case but hopefully it is not as bad as VS850 as when you press the string bed a month later you can definitely see the big difference (losing how many lbs of tension not sure but definitely more than 3lbs)

Yup I can understand exactly when active, 3 - 4 sessions a week, I was a little crazier before had done 6 hours a session  bruce.gif and then midnight sessions from 12AM till morning 6AM  ohmy.gif (there are those grand sifus here had done the same as well). After finish go makan breakfast balik and tido  thumbsup.gif
Are you still playing? Tot you dah main remote controlled stuffs jer?

Victor VS850 - No 1 in tension lost
Ashaway ZM62 - very good string but goes 'dead' quite fast (maybe due to lots of smashing when using this string)
Ashaway ZM65 - slightly thicker version of ZM62, still on all my rackets since I stopped playing more than 10 years ago

Still like ZM62 when freshly strung. Really a  devil.gif . Kuceng smash become harimau Thundercats smash!

Before moving to Ashaway, was using BG80 all the way and also have tried BG85 (slightly softer and more 'bite' than BG80 but string fray quite fast on the sweet spot), BG68Ti (Xbole pakai one, total opposite of BG85). Still have my 2U Cab21SP with BG80 think the string is about 11 years old now. Tension seems to be still good judging from the sound. The other 3 rackets are still with ZM65, tension seems to be still good (again measuring by sound only) and they are about 10 years old now.

Most probably will be trying out the Kizuna string D61 or Z58, if they are not good then will be Ashaway ZM Fire 62. Not sure whether can still handle hard feeling string anymore since much more older now.

Collecting data/info, preparing equipment and self before start playing again when daily new COVID cases are going down. Scary shit situation out there now.  sweat.gif

So many new poison since I left oso brows.gif and just missed the MX90 when I left  doh.gif  cry.gif

Since Meteor series has been discontinued, anyone knows what's the replacement series for it? Can't find anything much on Google  cry.gif

I still have MX60 but i giv it to my son. LOL

I do think so. Myb need to pre-stretch then gooding thumbup.gif

i did ask stringer to PS the string and i like it. 27lbs with 10% PS. From my observation with PS it can avoid string shift continuously.
