From the post, I suggest GS for the budget and taste ..

Since you are going to wear it on a daily basis, buy something that "ok" for you in daily "wear and tear" ..

I can't imagine how many times my Rolex hit the office glass door, here and there ... Lol

jst chck it out
the nomos tangente seems to suit me well
clean and simple
the type i have been searching for nowadays
except it doesnt have the tritium vial like ball
but nonetheless, nice watch no doubt!
*
tritium is a gimmick

i think almost all luxury time pieces dont have them.

Its ok for rolex to hit the door ma, most of the rolex model are for rough day2day wear anyway, just get it polished etc during your regular service its fine

Some small scratches here and there I won't bother, just mentioned so that you are prepared for such thing ..

After all, most ppl buy expensive watch and keep in museum also don't know what for (my colleague) ..

If not happy just change a new watch again ...

I would second the BlackBay.

It's a decent and reliable watch. Can double as a daily beater as well.

Thank you guys for all the many choices. But i guess for Grand Seiko, i would probably pass as the classical look is not something i am looking for now.

However, the other brands or models which i have never heard of, like BlackBay for instance, will definitely google around and see if they design's to my liking.

Please keep the suggestions coming.

Appreciate it! rclxms.gif

I know people frown at Bell & Ross but I would’ve gotten this piece if there were more discount off the retail price (~rm8k)

Got mine a few weeks ago for about 5900.

Not too bad and a lovely piece. Mine loses about 7 seconds a day, well within spec if you ask me.

by 7 seconds a day, does that mean it's 14 seconds after 2 days?

Yeah. So pretty much nearly a minute every week.

That’s acceptable.
