Other than picture #3, the rest seem to be underexposed.

Judging from the f number, I guess you pushed it a bit too far. Try using smaller f numbers. Besides that, experiment with matrix metering instead of using spot. Spot metering will easily blow out highlights if you meter on dark areas. Also take care of your white balance.

This is much better exposed. Opening up the aperture will allow more light in so that you don't need too much exposure compensation.

Looks like the flowers this time came out nice. Nice composition too.

The umbrella covered all your light.

I use Opanda IExif to view the picture's EXIF data. After install, you will be able to just right click on the picture and view it, provided the picture contains the EXIF data. Works with IE by default and you need to install the plug-in for Firefox.
