Im tired of always using blogger's templates and would like to design it myself.

May I know how are you doing to design, if you don't know about coding?

Try and search for some free-ebooks on HTML and CSS before you attempt to change your template. If you want, you can also register a new blog just to play around with the CSS. It's quite readable as the language is mostly self-explained.
