As expected from one of the toughest team around. Totally owns and totally rape. The fast tempo of roa is really amazing. As one of the referees said, its non stop action. Good job to the other ct team that reached the final, but the ability is still far away. I just love the way doldoi play warlock, upheaval on the 1st level, unexpected.

This reinstated my statement previously that roa is the only significant ct team around, lol, gg guys.

BTW, is chi lam one of the referees inside?He's taking a rest now?Why is he not in the game?

This is one of the quarter finals game from SMM Qualifiers Kuala Lumpur.

In terms of hero picks, it seemed to heavily favour Ct'G. They have the all-rounder Queen of Pain, a powerful solo hero in Shadow Fiend, a powerful team battle hero, a finisher, and a pure late gamer. Webbar, having opted a weird selection of heroes, have Necro'lic as a pseudo carry tanker, a good late gamer in Silencer, a heavy nuker in Zeus, and the Nerubian Assasssin, to which I have no idea why it was picked other than the possibility of countering Queen of Pain.

As the game started, Nerubian Assassin was at top lane with Necro'lic, but quickly swapped lanes to bottom after seeing Slayer, Sandking and Spectre at the bottom. Upon his arrival, the opponent tri-lane was pretty much shutdown for a moment, because of manaburn. Many would have though firstblood would happen at bottom lane, but instead, firstblood came in mid lane, when QoP got a haste rune and quickly went in for a gank on Silencer, which was disposed of by Shadow Fiend with a raze. This was mainly due to the non-aggressiveness of Necro'lic, which allowed Queen of Pain to pretty much do whatever she pleases.

The ganking initiative mainly came from Ct'G, and the most notable ganker is Queen of Pain. Webbar mainly stayed in their own lanes, only venturing into the Sentinel forest when Sandking was creep pulling at bottom. Necro'lic planted a revenant there to make sure that Sandking will not be able to creep pull without being noticed. Ct'G proceeded to take out outer towers at top and mid, resulting in a huge surge of cash for Spectre. However, just when Spectre seemed to have enough money to buy Relic, she was taken out. Even so, Spectre managed to get Relic at the 29th minute, together with a wraith band, some branches, and boots. Spectre again died at the 37th minute, when she got ganked by Zeus and Nerubian Assassin. However, at that moment, she already has 3000+ gold.

The game was pretty much one sided after that. Ct'G farmed up their godly items and proceeded to push for victory, with Queen of Pain, Spectre and Shadow Fiend carrying.

MVP goes to Queen of Pain because of timely ganks and overall map control.

Cybertime 1 never really faced any meaningful resistance on their way to winning this tournament. Below are a summary of their games,

Game ends 1 hour . Spectre got farmed but Ct-1's teamwork is superior. The Qop leading the way in hunting the Spec down a few times. The last catch on Spec proves to be crucial.


Second Round
Ct-1 on Scourge : Spec , Sven , Veno ,Warlock , Tinker
Paragon : Qop , Omniknight , Zeus , Shadowfiend , Sandking

Game ends 47 min . Score is 51-4 . WL , Spec and Tinker got their Beyond Godlike kills

Quarterfinal
Ct-1 on Scourge : Antimage , Veno , Sven , Qop , Shadowpriest
Sino : Warlock , Doom , Sandking , Spectre , Tormented Soul

In this game we can see the unconventional draft of AM and Shadowpriest being played to perfection by Ct-1. The double blink ability of Qop and AM ensured all heroes within their blink range suffer instant death. The Doom-Bringer at this game is the perfect example.
Although kills are abundant in this match , the supporting aspect of Dazzle must not be neglected. Shallow Grave enabled the team to perform diving in maneuvers that otherwise will not be done using conventional picks. Poison Touch and Shadow Wave throws off opponent's calculations on when to retreat and initiate causing them a lot of unwanted deaths.
"GG"s are exchanged at the 53rd min after Ct-1 broke 4 raxes in one slick move.
End game kills 42-22. Antimage got his Beyong Godlike kill.


Semifinal
Ct-1 on Scourge : Qop , Chen , WL , Sandking , Spectre.
Epic : Zeus , Chaos Knight , Silencer , Veno , Tinker

A conventional strat by Ct-1 with Spectre as late game insurance. 25 mins : Spec got relic , Warlock got refresher while the score is 3/24. Chen at one stage has 6 creeps moving with him.
Game ends at 37 mins.

Final
Ct-1 on Scourge : Qop , Warlock , Veno , Sandking , Spectre
Ct-G : Zeus , Vs , Ogre Magi , Sven , Silencer

Well , Ct-1 got first pick and picked Ct.G's favourite Qop. Perhaps knowing that their fate is sealed, Ct-G opted for an unconventional strat. Mass diabler strat + Zeus nuke in counter against Ct-1 member's favourite lineup.
Overall its a whitewash from Ct-1. Ct-G managed to perform some nice backup moves but were quickly overwhelmed multiple times early game causing the kill gap to widen faster than any team in this tournament.

Game ends at 47 mins with Ct-1 winning SMM KL Qualifiers.
