My brand new 2015 Vios has no noise when going thru bump...

but after few months, dashboard sound comes "alive"  laugh.gif

Apart from that, so far so good la.... biggrin.gif
*
it's normal for thai assembled cars
because of the frame they use for our market, it will start vibrate after a few months to year(depending on the road u traveled on)

after owning a "import" car, i'm not buying another one
most ppl say they won't buy another proton
my next car?..i'm back to p1/p2...my p1 car now is better condition than my import car

Believe or not, the Wira I bought in 1999...does NOT has dashboard sound for the last 10 years.... thumbup.gif

ok la...I have to accept cars nowadays has degrade the built quality, not the same as the 90s.

haha, u know how well KL road condition... brows.gif
*
i found out it's not build quality
it's that they use the same model for multiple market
say this car was designed for the japanese market, it was designed for a japanese player which fits nicely with the dashboard
as u know japanese player doesn't work here, so they needed to fit in a different player

and that player doesn't fit nicely with the dashboard which end up requiring a frame
over the time + the uneven surface of our road + potholes...that frame will start to make noise and vibrate

japanese reliability & safety over buatan malaysia + china.

i'm pretty sure X70 is safer due to size
those in CHR are just warning systems

actually i also agree whoever bought CHR should be shot
at that price point so many choice
X70, honda civic, mazda, subaru...all are better cars

Most of the CHR on the road now was bought during the 0% GST period. That time HRV got no stock and the CHR was priced the same as HRV
*
most of the CHR on the road, i cannot even be sure it's brand new
i think it's all grey import
nobody in their crazy mind would pay 150k for it
